South Tyrol and Dolomites

Natural beauty, unique alpine landscape, elegant hamlets and cosmopolitan atmosphere attract visitors from all over the world to the region of South Tyrol and the Dolomites. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Dolomites, with their imposing rose-tinted peaks offering dramatic views and sceneries, are considered by many to be the most beautiful mountain range in the world, thanks to their unique and monumental beauty.

Properties in the upmarket resorts of the area increasingly attract the appetites of local and international investors, due to the potential for high returns and capital appreciation.
A high demand for second homes, like highly sought-after chalets and detached houses in skiing resorts with modern style interiors and a balcony from which you can enjoy wonderful views of the Dolomites, is mainly registered, with apartments however being the most readily available type of property. Demand is also shifting increasingly to include rural outskirts, that in place of the central locations, offer buyers with plenty of peace and privacy and more affordable prices. International demand comes primarily from German and Austrian buyers, who seek the area as a safe haven for their assets.

“The residential property market in South Tyrol and the Dolomites is buoyant, with high demand for exclusive homes and which often exceeds the number of available properties on such a market, particularly in the premium segment.”
